Waldorf University is pleased to announce the promotion of Nick Ackerman to Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. Coach Ackerman enters his fifth year on the staff. He spent the last season as the Head JV Coach for the program. Before graduating from Waldorf University in 2024, Coach Ackerman competed as a student-athlete on the men's basketball team for one year and transitioned to a student assistant for the next three years. He also served as assistant high school and head junior high coach for his alma mater Hardin County Home Educators in 2019-2020.

Waldorf University is pleased to announce the hiring of Jackson Lee as Head JV Men's Basketball Coach. Coach Lee brings a strong background in playing and coaching experience to the program. Most recently, he served as the Head Club Basketball Coach for Impact Sports Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where he led the program's top 17U team. During the 2023-24 season, Coach Lee was on staff at the University of Arkansas as a graduate assistant for the men's basketball program, contributing to all aspects of team operations and player development at the Division I level.

On Monday, July 28, 2025, the NAIA released the 2024-25 Champions of Character institutions. Waldorf University scored a perfect 100 on the Champions of Character scorecard, earning the Five-Star Gold level for the third year in a row.

The Waldorf University men's soccer program is gearing up for a new chapter in 2025 with the release of its full season schedule under the leadership of newly appointed Head Coach Joseph Tibbs. The Warriors are aiming to make history this fall by securing their first ever berth in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) tournament.

The Waldorf University women's soccer program is preparing for their upcoming season with Head Coach Thomas Goodman entering his third year. Their 18-game schedule includes six non-conference matchups and twelve Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) games.

The Waldorf University Volleyball program announced their 2025 Varsity and JV schedules. Coach Bri Ebenhoe begins her ninth season as the team's head coach, and along with Coach Matt Ebenhoe (ninth season) and Coach Haley Bush (first season), the program is preparing for their upcoming season, including eight non-conference and 16 conference matchups.
