The Waldorf University History Department will be hosting its 2^nd annual History Student Symposium on Wednesday, November 29 in the Salveson Hall Ballroom. 

Four Waldorf University Creative Writing students were selected to share their poetry at the Streamlines conference held November 11 at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. 

Three Waldorf University students earned recognition at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competition at Drake University on November 3-4.

Waldorf University’s Department of Music is pleased to present Christmas with Waldorf, December 1-2 at 7 p.m. and December 3 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Forest City. Christmas with the Waldorf University Wind Symphony will be held on December 7 at 7 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City. This year’s theme is “This Shining Night.”

Two alum were recently recognized during Waldorf University’s Homecoming festivities with the prestigious Alumni Distinguished Service Award. 

2017 Iowa Teacher of the Year and Waldorf alum Shelly (Wentzel) Vroegh will speak at Waldorf University on Wednesday, November 15 at 6:15 p.m. in the Salveson Ballroom. The public is invited to attend.

Hannah Marsh has joined Waldorf University as director of alumni relations and gift officer. 

Waldorf University’s Faculty Inquiere will take place on Tuesday, November 7 starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Luise V. Hanson Library, room 201.

Waldorf University is pleased to announce this year’s inductees into the Alpha Chi Honor Society. Alpha Chi honors those juniors and seniors with high academic achievement who use those gifts in service for others.

Waldorf University’s Theatre Department presents Othello, November 15-18, 2017, at 7:30 p.m. in the Smith Theatre of Voss Hall.
