At Waldorf University, we are committed to supporting our education students - just like how you support yours.

Waldorf University and Educational Impact have partnered to develop a pathway for Educational Impact students to apply their courses towards a M.Ed. at Waldorf University.

This partnership provides a flexible path towards a master's degree for educators who have previously or are currently taking courses with Educational Impact. EI students can apply their completed hours towards elective credit in the self-designed M.Ed program at Waldorf University. The full transfer pathway is detailed below.

78 hours = 6 credits

If you've completed, or are working towards completion of 72 hours of online continuing education through Educational Impact, you are eligible to bring in 6 credit hours towards the Self Designed M.Ed at Waldorf!

Not quite there yet? No problem.

For every 13 hours of work completed with Educational Impact, you can bring in 1 credit hour towards Waldorf's Self-Designed Master of Education degree.

How can I tell what EI credits I have?

Reach out to Educational Impact! They'll be able to verify your EI hours taken and send us a transcript for our evaluation team to utilize during the admissions process.

What are the steps? How does this work?

  1. Request Information - let us know you're interested in attending WU for your Self-Designed M.Ed. and that you have credits from Educational Impact to transfer in!
  2. Complete the Application for Admission to Waldorf - you can complete your application over the phone (call us at 877-359-1444) or online. Be sure to tell us you came from EI!
  3. Get Evaluated - as a part of the admissions process, we will evaluate ALL possible transfer credit, including your hours from Educational Impact, any previously earned college credit, other certifications, and even in some cases, work history. We guarantee to accept the most amount of applicable transfer credit possible, up to 50% for graduate programs.
  4. Get Enrolled - once your evaluation is complete and you've been accepted into WU, we can often get you started in classes within a few weeks. We have 11 term start dates per year.

Why Choose Waldorf for your M.Ed?

  • Unlike many online programs that adapt in-person, semester-long classes to an online format, Waldorf's online courses were designed specifically for the online learner.
  • Our faculty are professional educators, too, who understand classroom dynamics and the administrative challenges faced by K-12 educators.
  • Waldorf's classes for online programs include 8 weeks of coursework with no set class times nor live lectures. Waldorf has integrated high-quality, professionally curated video materials from Educational Impact into the classes, providing you with the ability to learn on your schedule, using the same high-quality resources you use in other professional continuing education.
  • Waldorf is a historic, 120 year old institution with pillars of Tradition, Passion, Community, and Success. As a Waldorf graduate, you'll go on to join a network of successful alumni who are dedicated to serving the communities where they live and work.
