    • Academic Achievement Center

      The Academic Achievement Center, located on the catwalk above Warrior Crossing, provides academic services to all Waldorf University Students.

      The office is open for student use until 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

    • Academic Affairs

      The Academic Affairs office, located on the first floor of Salveson Hall, is responsible for the administration of all academic programs of the university. This includes curriculum development for degree programs, curriculum assessment, faculty recruitment, development and evaluation, and institutional research.

      This office also oversees the activities of the library, academic advising, international education, online learning, registrar and intstructional design. The Academic Affairs office gives overall coordination to the Honors College, academic policies and procedures, faculty governance and commencement activities.

      In the Waldorf University Online Admissions Department, we are here in the service of you! From receiving your initial information request, to walking you through your first enrollment, our dedicated staff provides a personalized approach to making your entire admissions process a success.       The Advancement Office, located on the first floor of Salveson Hall, is responsible for connecting with and communicating with Waldorf alumni and friends. As public relations ambassadors of the University, this office serves to maintain and further the mission and traditions of Waldorf. It is responsible for planning and organizing events such as Homecoming, alumni gatherings, Honors Day and the Christmas open house and manages publication pieces such as the monthly e-newsletters as well as assisting the Marketing Department with the Waldorf Magazine.

      The Career Center at Waldorf University is available to all current students beginning with their first day on campus. We are here to help you prepare for life after graduation.

      Career Center services are also available to alumni. We are happy to assist with updates to your resumes and cover letters, job searches and graduate school information.

    • Chemistry Department

      The mission of the Chemistry program is to provide the knowledge of importance of chemistry in our everyday life and to prepare students for careers in the physical sciences. We educate and prepare students from diverse backgrounds for lifelong learning about chemistry and its involvement in modern technology and in society.

    • Communications Department

      The Communications Department at Waldorf understands the importance of connecting classroom knowledge with real-life experience. Whether students prefer written or digital communication, they will be exposed to semester after semester of opportunities to write, record, edit and design. Students receive hands-on experience from day one!

      The Communications Department also manages Waldorf’s campus media including KZOW 91.9 FM, WAL-TV, The Lobbyist newspaper and The Torch magazine.

      Conferences and Dining encompasses all aspects of student meal plans, daily campus dining needs, both on and off campus catering and conferences by both internal and external groups staying on campus or using Waldorf University facilities. We strive to provide exceptional and creative food options, lodging and personalized event planning to meet the goals of any group staying on campus.

    • Creative Writing Department

      The Waldorf University Creative Writing Program allows students to major or minor in Creative Writing, providing a challenging, engaging, and deeply personal learning experience. Students explore at least three genres of writing and develop their craft in techniques courses and upper-level workshops. They form strong relationships with peers in seminar style classes, and they work directly with faculty who are excellent teachers as well as practicing writers.

      Here at Waldorf, our faculty in Criminal Justice brings a diverse range of professional and academic experiences. We pride ourselves on preparing our students for their futures in law enforcement at all levels or for professional and graduate education. Our program within major, combined with the liberal arts tradition offered at Waldorf, ensures that our graduates are set to become leaders in their fields and their communities in an effort to improve them.

      Waldorf University’s Cybersecurity bachelor’s degree online program offers hands-on training and the skills needed to identify cyber-attacks, seek out vulnerabilities and how to safeguard the organization’s critical infrastructure and more.

      The mission of the Waldorf University Education Department is to "prepare engaging teachers to serve a diverse community of learners." Through the Waldorf Teacher Preparation Program, students experience exemplary learning opportunities both on campus and in the area K-12 school districts. Additionally, Waldorf Teacher Education students learn to assume roles as leaders, advocates and servants within the professional setting and the community.

      The primary purpose of the financial aid program at Waldorf is to make it possible for qualified students who have financial need to bridge the gap between the cost of education and the family's ability to pay. Of the students that enroll at Waldorf, 100% receive some form of scholarship or award.

    • Fire Science Administration Department

      The Fire Science Department at Waldorf incorporates the Waldorf mission and vision into classroom discussions, activities, projects and other assignments. This helps ensure the success of the student extends beyond the classroom where students “serve the communities where they live and work”.

    • Health Care Management Department

      The Health Care Management Department at Waldorf aims to empower our students who aspire to manage and lead health systems by encouraging innovative and interdisciplinary problem solving. Our faculty members have a wide breadth of knowledge and working experience in various areas of health care including informatics, nursing, quality analytics, patient safety, strategic management, and enterprise project management. Course content is tailored around organizational culture, health care specific human resource management, strategic and financial management, marketing and many other career-building disciplines designed to prepare students for the challenging profession.

      The Waldorf University Department of History, Political Science and Geography offers a Bachelor of Arts in history with two available majors: history and political science.

      This program emphasizes critical thinking, reading and writing skills, as well as global and cultural issues, will prepare students for advanced academic work in graduate or law schools and for careers as teachers, lawyers, researchers, legal assistants, park service curators, interpreters, journalists, military officers, law enforcement officers, museum curators, business executive officers, pastors, theologians and more.

Our objectives in the Department of Music seek to serve the student majoring in music, as well as the non-major with an interest in growing musically.
