There are no specific groups that have a history or pattern of hazing incidents within our campus or within their organization to date.

Incidents Log of Hazing on Campus 2006-Present (1)

  • In 2008 an athletic team had players all dye their hair white, then shave heads at later date during the season. The situation was never formally reported as a complaint by any person, however it was recognized and addressed by the Office of Student Life with some members of the team. The athletic program and student athletes denied any act of team cohesion or bonding was coerced, required and part of any initiation event or that was a concern. Players were offered the opportunity to meet with Student Life if there were any concerns over the situation and there was no concerned addressed by the students. Coaches and AD were communicated to regarding the concern and impressions of hazing. No further incidents of hazing have been reported or observed since this incident in 2008.
