Scholarships are all about students. Kind of. They are also about Waldorf committing to tell donor stories. We are grateful that our supportive community wants to make sure that students have the best possible education.
Our students thrive when they have what they need and are free from financial pressures so they can focus on their studies and experiences.
Scholarships help students make the decision to attend Waldorf by keeping education affordable and well-priced. Coming from around the world, students stay because we support their academics, assign student success coaches, have great student activities, and provide incredible athletic opportunities!
Waldorf University’s mission is to educate the entire person, equipping students for lives of fulfillment in communities where they live and serve.
Dr. Bob Alsop, President
You can invest in students by:
- Making gifts to the Waldorf Fund to support student experiences.
- Designate Scholarships for your gifts to support student financial aid.
- Direct funds to an annually funded or established endowed scholarship.
- Establish a scholarship endowment in your lifetime or through a legacy estate gift plan.
When donors are able to connect with students, they joyfully experience the value of the Waldorf community.
We are in an extremely strong financial position. Throughout the past almost fifteen years, we added scholarships, paid for some deferred maintenance, partnered with Forest City and the school district to build performance and athletics facilities, and cleared our debt. We have all the components for a thriving university. With a strong investment strategy, your endowed gifts are well-stewarded.
With over 300 named scholarship funds representing more than $400,000 per year, the opportunity is perfect to invest in students. Owned by the Waldorf Lutheran College Foundation since 2022, Waldorf University is a 501(c)3 organization, providing many tax-deductible opportunities for your philanthropy to achieve your dream for Waldorf.
