FOREST CITY, Iowa — Waldorf University Men's Soccer and Head Men's Soccer Coach Joseph Tibbs are excited to announce the addition of five student-athletes who will join the Warriors for the Spring 2026 semester.
This spring signing class represents an important step forward for the program, adding experience, depth, and balance across the roster. The group features a blend of international and domestic talent, including players with valuable experience at the junior college level, as well as young prospects entering their collegiate careers.
The Warriors' Spring signees include Paul Franco (Santiago, Dominican Republic), Ignacio Garcia (Oxnard, California), Gabriel Benedito (Leiria, Portugal), Landon Turne (Aiea, Hawaii), and Guy Pimentel (Salinas, California).
Paul Franco | Goalkeeper
Hometown: Santiago, Dominican Republic
Class: Sophomore
Previous School: Colegio La Salle Santiago
Coach Tibbs on Franco:
"We're excited to have Paul join us and add depth to our goalkeeping group. He's eager to compete and push for minutes right away, and I'm looking forward to seeing his continued development as we prepare for the spring season."
Ignacio Garcia | Defender
Hometown: Oxnard, California
Class: Junior
Previous School: Moorpark College

"Ignacio is a player we expect to make an immediate impact in our defensive unit. His maturity and experience will be a valuable addition to the squad, and we're excited to see how he contributes this spring."
Gabriel Benedito | Attacking Midfielder / Winger
Hometown: Leiria, Portugal
Class: Freshman
Previous School: Butte College

"Gabriel is a dynamic attacking player whose versatility allows him to play both as a winger and in attacking midfield roles. He's hungry to prove himself in our environment, and Waldorf provides a great opportunity for him to grow both as a player and as a person."
Landon Turne | Defender
Hometown: Aiea, Hawaii
Class: Freshman
Previous School: Aiea High School

Guy Pimentel | Defender
Hometown: Salinas, California
Class: Junior
Previous School: Monterey Peninsula College
