GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Eliza McKown travels to the NAIA National Championship this week to compete in the 800m event. In the GPAC Indoor Conference Championships in February, McKown finished first with a time of 2:14.26 (2:12.73#), less than a second from the meet record set in 2015 and almost four seconds faster than the next runner, earning her the title of Conference Champion in the 800m. She currently holds the school record in the event and has the 6^th fastest time in the nation.

The 800m prelims take place on Friday, March 6 at 2:15 p.m. CST and the finals are Saturday, March 7 at 1:20 p.m. CST. For the full schedule, click here.
