FOREST CITY, Iowa – On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) released the 2026 All-Conference Women's Wrestling teams. Mackenzie Gilbert, Niah Smith, and Renee Miguel earned All-Conference Second Team. Neve Barragan and Skyler Bruno received Honorable Mention recognition.
Gilbert, a freshman from Modesto, Cali., wrestled in the 103-weight class. She finished in 2nd place at the GPAC Conference Tournament and qualified for the NAIA National Tournament.
Smith, a redshirt junior from Davenport, Iowa, wrestled in the 145-weight class. At the GPAC Conference Tournament, she placed 2nd and will compete at the NAIA National Tournament.
Miguel, a redshirt sophomore from West Covina, Cali., wrestled at 160 and finished in 2nd place in her weight-class in the GPAC Conference Tournament.
Barragan, a redshirt junior from Mesa, Ariz., placed 3rd in the GPAC Conference Tournament in the 131 weight-class.
Bruno, a junior from Bakersfield, Cali., wrestled in the 207 weight-class. She finished in 4th place in the GPAC Conference Tournament and will compete at the NAIA National Tournament for the second year in a row.
The 4th Annual NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championship is on March 13-14, 2026 in Wichita, Kan.
