FOREST CITY, Iowa – The Waldorf University men's soccer program is gearing up for a new chapter in 2025 with the release of its full season schedule under the leadership of newly appointed Head Coach Joseph Tibbs. The Warriors are aiming to make history this fall by securing their first ever berth in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) tournament.
Coach Tibbs, a proven program builder with a record of elevating collegiate teams, takes the helm with high hopes and a competitive slate of matches designed to test and refine his young squad ahead of conference play.
The Warriors open the season on the road, traveling to Canton, Mo. on Friday, August 22 to take on Culver-Stockton College. From there, they face back-to-back road challenges at University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP) in St. Louis, Mo. on Friday, August 29 and Evangel University in Springfield, Mo. the following day.
Waldorf's home opener is set for Thursday, September 11 when they host Martin Luther College at Bolstorff Field, offering fans their first look at the 2025 squad. The Warriors then head north to face North Central University in Minneapolis, Minn. on Saturday, September 13.
The non-conference portion of the schedule wraps up with road trips to Hesston College (September 17) and Concordia College, Moorhead (September 20), setting the stage for the start of GPAC play.
Conference action kicks off on Wednesday, September 24 with a crucial home match against Northwestern College. Waldorf will then face a series of league opponents, including road fixtures at Doane University (September 27), Dordt University (October 1), Concordia University (NE) (October 11), Morningside University (October 22), and Mount Marty University (October 26).
Key home GPAC matchups include:
- October 4 vs Hastings College

"We've got a talented group of players and a schedule that will push us to be our best when it matters most."
Should the Warriors secure a spot in the GPAC postseason, they'll compete in the quarterfinals on November 1 with the semifinals scheduled for November 7 and the conference championship match on November 11.
