FOREST CITY, Iowa - Waldorf Athletics is proud to announce this week's Spotlight Athletes of the Week: Brandi Peck (women's cross country) and Andy Tworkowski (D1 hockey).

Peck, a junior from Temecula, Calif., ran a 26:05.0 6K in the Seminole Valley Stampede on Saturday, racing a lifetime best and shaving 2:03 off her pervious personal best.

The Warrior Cross Country teams travel to the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic on Saturday, October 25 in Ashland, Nebraska.

Tworkowski, a sophomore from West Richland, Wash., made 27 of 28 saves in Friday's 3-1 win over Iowa State University. During the last two minutes of the game, he made spectacular saves to keep the Warriors ahead when Iowa State pulled their goalie for an extra attacker.

Waldorf D1 Hockey returns to Mason City, Iowa on Thursday, October 9 to battle the McKendree University Bearcats at 7pm.
