FOREST CITY, Iowa – The Waldorf American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division 1 team announced Tuesday that Associate Head Coach Mike Heitkamp will move back into the Head Coach position for the 2025-26 season. Sean Parker remains the ACHA Division 2 coach and Chayse Haberman remains the graduate assistant for both programs.

This season marks Coach Heitkamp's fifth season with the Warriors and seventh with Waldorf University where he also serves as the university's vice president of enrollment.

"I am very excited to be back in the head coach role for our program," Coach Heitkamp said. "We have worked hard to get this program heading in the right direction. Coach Haberman and I are excited with this group. The group has responded very well the last few weeks."

The D1 team opens their season at Midland University on Friday, September 12. The D2 team's first game is at Minnesota-Duluth on Friday, September 26.
